Chapter 2: Silently

After That Night, and then a week passed since we have been together I never thought it could get any better than it already was. I silently sat in class and stared at the clock. As the minutes passed by and the sound of the clock the only thing I concentrated on, I saw him right before my eyes leaning in for a kiss.
I never moved, I couldn’t move just silently sat there and felt his soft lips touch mine. This is the greeting you crave for, you imagine your boyfriend kissing you without a care in the world or if anyone is looking.

“Hey, sweetie” he said

“Right back at you, what are you doing embarrassing someone in the afternoon” Ella asked.

“I love you too” Zhou Mi laughed.

“HAHA you think you are so smart, making fun of your girlfriend are we” Ella laughed sarcastically and hit Zhou Mi on the arm.

“What were you doing gazing off in space?” Zhou Mi asked.

“Me… I was looking at he clock I am craving for something to eat” She pulled Zhou Mi in close. “Besides You That Is”

Ella kissed Zhou Mi´s nose and got up out of her chair. Zhou Mi looked at her walking out the door and wondered where she was going, and then he looked at the clock. Oh class is over.

A sudden tap on her head, Ella turned around and noticed Gui Gui was standing behind her. What a relief that class was finally over and she could eat and see a show. Ella looked into the classroom and saw Zhou Mi still standing by her desk.

“Mimi get over here, you’re going to miss it” Ella said.

Zhou Mi thought, what was so important to see that she was still standing by the class door and not going to get something to eat.

“Coming. Sweetie” He replied.

Gui Gui was standing by her locker waiting for Arron to come. Today was his birthday and their 3year anniversary. She couldn’t wait to give him her present; she spent so much time on this one event. Even though Arron planned all their events, she wanted to do at least on for him show him that he meant a lot to her. Ella and Mimi were just the friends on standby to witness their love for each other and to give Zhou Mi some ideas on how to make Ella happy.

Gui Gui could smell Ck One drifting in the hallways; it was Gui Gui favourite smell the smell Arron. Then a shot of yellow popped out around the corner, they both agreed on wearing couple outfits to mark their anniversary. Arron gabbed Gui Gui by the waist and pulled her in close, the smell made Gui Gui fall into a dreamland. Arron head slightly lowered and touched her lips ever so softly. Her lifted her head and opened her eyes. She saw a single red rose with a bow and a little note under the knot. It wasn’t much but it meant everything to her.

You came to me on my birthday and I am grateful to have you. Being with you makes my heart flutter everyday; my love for you is unchanging like the seasons. They have their time to change when they are ready and every season reacts in a different way. My love for you is like the seasons, changes when we want to make the mood better.

I Love You Arron

Gui Gui eyes started to tear, they fell delicately on her face like snow falling in the winter. Arron wiped them carefully, she slowly lifted her head and his hand was right in her face. What was he doing wiping her tears just because it disgusted him, he didn’t want to see her cry. Then she looked again at his hand, a shiny metal object on his ring finger, he put his hand down and took hers.

“Gui you are mine, no one else can have you. I Love you,” he said

“I Love you too” she replied.

Arron wiped the rest of her tears and slipped the ring onto her finger, it was silver with three small diamonds inside hearts. On the back of the ring there was an engraving.

Arron ♥ Gui Gui Forever

“Arron this is beautiful, but I wanted to do something special for you. Why do you always do the cool things?” Gui Gui said.

“Sorry, I didn’t know that you were planning something, but I thought we agreed to have couple rings when we have our 3 year anniversary” he said.

“I know, oh well I am still very happy” Gui Gui replied smiling.

She suddenly forgot that she wanted to plan an event for him and kept looking at the ring. Gui Gui looked up at Arron and kissed him.

“Thank You, Pudding”

Ella´s eyes started to tear up she was so happy for her friends, Zhou Mi looked over at the smiling cry baby and wrapped him arms around her gently. Ella felt his presence and warmth and looked him in the eyes silently, without speaking. It was like all they both wanted to say, be said with that one gaze. Zhou Mi grabbed Ella hand and took her towards the school roof so they could have there our time alone.

The fresh spring air was lightly blowing in their hair, the smell of flowers and fruits the sent. No words were spoken in that hour just the wind, smell, and the warmth of Zhou Mi´s arms wrapped around her.

“Mimi… do you want to go on a trip with me” Ella asked bluntly.

“Ah… well… I’m not really sure” Zhou Mi hesitated.

Ella looked up at him with a dumbfounded look on his face, and remembered she forgot to tell him one important piece of this news.

“Ah, I forgot to tell you that Gui, and Arron will be coming with us” She stated

“You think you could say that first, you kind of freaked me out their for a second” he replied with a sigh.

“Sorry, Mimi I kind of forget something when I get really excited. So what do you think” Ella asked.

“ I love the idea” he smiled.

“Good, me and Gui Gui have everything planned. We bought a tent that sleep four people,” Ella explained to Zhou Mi.

Since their senior vacation was coming up the girls thought this would be the perfect time to hang out together, and with their boyfriends at the same time. Ella checked her phone to see what the time was, she tugged Zhou Mi and they both went down the stairs before they were late for class.

They were walking hand in hand until Ella´s cell phone went off and gave her a fright. She looked at the text message from Gui Gui, but decided not to reply since she was going to be in class in a few seconds.

She put her phone away and walked into the classroom, Gui Gui was staring at them since they walked into together. She was making strange faces seeing if she could get an answer.

“What Gui Gui” Ella said
“Nothing really, but did you ask Zhou Mi if he wanted to go camping with us” she asked.

“Yes I did but I forgot to tell him that you were coming, in the beginning he was like freaking out” She said.

Zhou Mi suddenly turned his head around “I did not freak out” he said

“Okay Mimi I love you too” Ella replied sarcastically.

“I know what you mean,” Gui Gui said.

“I told Arron, the doorknob over there on the phone and before I could even get out that you were coming he hung up and showed up and my door” Gui Gui said while looking at Arron.

The girls were talking about their plans foe the camping trip and the boys just sat there while listening. They were embarrassed enough as it is because they over reacted. Ella and Gui Gui looked over at them and smiled.

“So boys don’t get to excited about our little camping trip” Gui Gui smiled and laughed at their faces.

“Yeah don’t forget that you have to bring the blankets and the food” Ella added in.

“We won’t” they both replied.

The last class, the last bell of the day and finally their senior vacation will begin. A patient and silent week, but with lots of planning and improvements in both the couples relationships. Ella and Gui Gui couldn’t wait till the camping trip, they had lots of tings they waned to do and a whole weekend to spend it on. The girls decided to end the day with a sleepover before they left, so it would be easier on the boys who were coming to pick them up.

They day turned night and passed by silently, and night turned back into day.

Silence is good when you are alone but when you are together, everything changes and your life becomes focused on the one person who takes your silence and shares it with you. Those silent moments are treasured even more because you are now two instead of one.
